Location:
The Huron Harp Fest was formerly held in Goderich, Ontario, known as “The Prettiest Town in Canada.” The festival has now moved locations for its third year and will be located in Port Elgin, Ontario, about an hour’s drive from Goderich and a 3 hour drive from the Toronto Area.
Workshops and accommodations will be at the Unifor Family Education Centre – 115 Shipley Avenue, Port Elgin. The Unifor Centre is a beautiful conference centre with plenty of accommodation and several meeting rooms, as well as outdoor gathering spaces, all on the shores of Lake Huron.

The Huron Harp School
Huron Harp Fest is sponsored by Huron Harp School, based in Goderich, Ontario, under the direction of teacher Sharon Johnston.
Founded in 2006, the Huron Harp School (HHS) has over 25 members and is growing all the time. All students regardless of age or experience have opportunities to play together in a casual setting, as well as to perform together. Many students report that group performing, and finding their voice in the group, is the most satisfying part of playing the harp.
HHS members can be found performing in large groups, as soloists, or in smaller ensembles, at garden parties, celtic jam sessions, formal concerts and fundraisers. More info about Huron Harp School can be found at sharonjohnstonharp.com/hurharp
